I’m studying Mechanical & Ocean Engineering at MIT, with a particular interest in naval architecture and systems engineering.
Thinking in systems.
I’m interested in how structure, propulsion, fluids, and controls come together in a working vessel. I like understanding how individual engineering decisions affect the behavior of a larger system.
My studies include dynamics and controls, thermal-fluids, and numerical computation. This site is a place to document my work as those interests develop.
Beyond engineering
I enjoy trains, reading, and exploring ideas in history and politics. Notes is where I’ll collect reflections on what I read and listen to.
